• Staging the Future Endowment Campaign

The Robbie & Lynore Fine Arts Center (RFAC) is an asset to the entire Plano community thanks to the generous support of the citizens of Plano during the 2016 bond election. The RFAC can accommodate more than 325 district performances, rehearsals and events scheduled annually through the Plano ISD’s fine arts program and is available for public and corporate use such as trainings, conferences, receptions and other events.

While the citizens of Plano approved the 2016 bond that funded the design and construction of the RFAC, the annual programming and operating costs of the facility are not eligible for bond funding under Texas law. These costs include staffing and programming support, utilities, as well as general operations and maintenance. The Plano ISD Education Foundation has launched a $3.2 million endowment campaign called Staging the Future, which will ensure the long-term financial stability of the RFAC and establish the Center as an ever-present resource for Plano ISD students and the Plano community.

This endowment campaign is ongoing. Gift agreements received by May 18, 2023 are eligible to be RFAC Founding Patrons. Join the amazing cast and crew of supporters that have made an investment in this show-stopping facility.  For more information, please email RFACdonors@pisd.edu.

**To be included in the grand opening festivities as a founding patron, gift agreements must be received by May 18, 2023.**

  • Help Ensure the Vitality of the Fine Arts in Plano

Together with the Plano ISD Education Foundation, Plano ISD and the Staging the Future endowment committee, you can ensure the vitality of the fine arts in Plano by becoming a Founding Patron.

The Staging the Future endowment committee is chaired by Missy Bender, past Plano ISD Education Foundation board president, former Plano ISD Board of Trustees president and Director of Advocacy and Outreach for Raise Your Hand Texas Foundation.

"The fine arts are valuable elements of the educational experience in Plano ISD. The arts provide a place for every student to learn creativity, diligence, patience, expression, teamwork and have a place to belong. It did for me when I was a student in Plano ISD, and it did the same for my daughter. The Robbie and Lynore Robinson Fine Arts Center represents the high value that Plano ISD and the community place upon the artistic expression of Plano ISD students and its community members, while serving as a space in which to explore new ideas and come together as neighbors." – Missy Bender
