Dobby is our newest Educational Opossum Ambassador!
The decision to house Dobby at the HSLC was made after a wildlife rehabilitator noted that permanent damage was done to his hind legs, affecting his ability to live on his own in the wild.
When orphaned wildlife is found by people, it is always the goal to release them back into the wild. In rare situations, this is not possible and the animal may be eligible to become an educational ambassador.
