I was born in Marietta, Georgia, which is a suburb of Atlanta.  My family and I moved to the Richardson area when I was 10 years old, where I attended Plano ISD schools.  After I graduated from Plano East Senior High School, I attended Collin County Community College.  There, I received my Associates Degree in 2002.  I then furthered my education at the University of Texas at Dallas, which is where I decided my passion was to become an elementary teacher.  In December 2008, I received my Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies.  From there I began my teaching career in 2009.  My wonderful husband and I married in 2002 and moved to the Wylie area in 2005.  The joys of our lives are our precious children: Haylie, Finley, and Noah.  All of them are always keeping us on our toes.  I am very proud to also be a part of the Miller Mustang family and I look forward to an amazing school year ahead.
