I was born in Marietta, Georgia, which is a suburb of Atlanta. My family and I moved to the Richardson area when I was 10 years old, where I attended Plano ISD schools. After I graduated from Plano East Senior High School, I attended Collin County Community College. There, I received my Associates Degree in 2002. I then furthered my education at the University of Texas at Dallas, which is where I decided my passion was to become an elementary teacher. In December 2008, I received my Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies. From there I began my teaching career in 2009. My wonderful husband and I married in 2002, and moved to the Wylie area in 2005. The joys of our lives are our precious daughters, Haylie and Finley, and our dog, Buddy. All of them are always keeping us on our toes. I am very proud to also be a part of the Miller Mustang family and I look forward to an amazing school year ahead.
