Health Informatics
The Health Informatics program of study focuses on occupational and educational opportunities associated with the management anduse of patient information in the healthcare field. This program of study includes exploration of computerized healthcare systemsand the process of creating and maintaining hospital and patient records in accordance with regulatory requirements of the healthcaresystem. Students will also practice writing and interpreting medical reports.

The remainder of the year students alternate between related classroom instruction and serving as an unpaid intern in a hospital or other health care facility.
