  • Update Regarding Curbside Meal Pickup for February 22 through March 2

    Due to school and facility closure, our curbside meal pickup schedule will be adjusted in order to make up the lost preparation time. 

    Meals for Wednesday, February 24–Thursday, February 25:

    A curbside meal pickup for School@Home learners will be available for pickup on Tuesday, February 23 from 9:30 a.m.–10:30 a.m. at the regular pickup locations (see below). There will only be a morning pickup for that day. These meal bundles will contain two days of breakfast and lunch meals for Wednesday, February 24–Thursday, February 25. 

    Meals for Friday, February 26–Tuesday, March 2:

    A curbside meal pickup will occur on Thursday, February 25 from 9:30 a.m.–10:30 a.m. and from 4:45 p.m.– 6:00 p.m. at the regular pickup locations (see below). These meal bundles will contain five days of breakfast and lunch meals for Friday, February 26–Tuesday, March 2. 

    Regular curbside meal distribution will resume on Tuesday, March 2. 

    The meal bundles can be picked up at any of the following locations:

    Anyone picking up meals for students, without the student present, must bring appropriate documentation in the form of a school issued ID, report card, parent portal attendance summary form, or birth certificate.


     

  • Curbside Meal Bundles for PISD School@Home

    Weekly meal bundles are provided on Tuesdays when school is in session, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. 

    *Meal service is required to begin and end at the designated serving times, therefore, meals are unable to be distributed outside of these time frames.

    Meal bundles will consist of seven breakfasts and seven lunches.

  • Meal Preparation

    Food items included in meal bundles will need to be stored in the refrigerator or freezer and heated for consumption. Food storage procedures and preparation instructions will be provided with meals. Parents/guardians must review and follow these procedures and instructions to ensure overall food safety and quality.

  • Curbside Meal Pickup Locations

    Parents may pick up meals for their PISD School@Home student(s) at a curbside meal pickup location closest to their home campus site.

  • Compliance for Curbside Meal Pickup

    Anyone picking up meals for students, without the student present, must bring appropriate documentation in the form of a school issued ID, report card, parent portal attendance summary form, or birth certificate.

  • Federal Meal Application

    We continue to encourage households to apply for free and reduced-price meals, in the event USDA funds become unavailable.  To complete a federal meal application, please visit SchoolCafe.com/PISD.  Allow 10 business days for application processing.
