Profile of a Collegiate Academy Student
The aim of the Collegiate Academy is to create a supportive environment that allows students to earn an Associate degree while completing their high school diploma. This means a high school student must be ready to also become a college student. The ideal student has initiative, determination, self-advocacy skills, is organized, attends school regularly, and is committed to success in college.
In addition to these attributes, applicants must meet the following criteria to be admitted to the Wildcat Collegiate Academy:
- Be a current 8th grader to begin WCA as a 9th grader for the 2025-2026 school year
- Earned "Meets" performance level on Fall 8th Grade MAP Reading Assessment
- Have 90% attendance rate = no more than 6 full or partial day absences by the application deadline
