Hearing Assistance Information
The Robinson Fine Arts Center Main Stage is equipped with a Listen Technologies Hearing Assistance System.Items to use the system can be checked out from the front desk area or by asking an usher.
A Radio Frequency Receiver broadcasts the signal from an audience experience microphone located in the house of the Main Stage Space.
The receiver can be used in one of three ways by audience members needing hearing assistance.
- The over-the-ear Universal Ear Speaker offers high-quality audio performance and freedom of movement. The speaker’s open design allows the wearer to hear outside sounds as well as the transmitted audio, and the unit can be used with hearing aids for a truly universal solution.
- The Advanced Neck Loop provides a reliable and effective way for listeners with telecoil equipped hearing aids and cochlear implants to utilize your assistive listening system. Each neck loop slips comfortably over the wearer’s neck and transmits the audio signal wirelessly to their t-coil device, leaving their hands free for added convenience.
- BRING YOUR OWN HEADPHONES - The Listen Technology System is compatible with any 1/8" connector headphones. Guests are welcome to bring their own headphones that have this connector and check out a receiver to use them with.
