I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in English and my Master of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Baylor University.  A San Antonio native, I started my career working in schools and doing home health visits there before moving to the DFW area and joining the PISD family in January 2014. I joined the Wells family in 2023 and absolutely love it here!

I spend most of my free time with my husband, Lloyd, and our two daughters. We are all animal lovers and Lloyd is a falconer so we always have lots of creatures running (or flying) around the house. I also love reading, gardening, and cooking.

I am so proud to be able to spend my working life empowering students to effectively communicate their thoughts and feelings. I get so much energy and joy out of working with children, getting to know them as individuals, and seeing them grow.
