Haun Elementary is such a wonderful place! I am so excited to be a part of the Haun family! I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas, and went to Oklahoma State University for college. Before I discovered my passion for teaching, my initial major at OSU was Marriage and Family Therapy. Going into my senior year at OSU, I was hired as a camp counselor for young children for a summer camp in Dallas. I quickly learned that teaching was my true calling. I absolutely love children and love the idea of helping them become the best they can be. The following summer, I met my fiancé at the same camp, and we have been attached at the hip ever since! This is my third year as a Haun Husky and my fourth year teaching Kindergarten. This is such a fun age to teach, and I love every minute of it. I look forward to an amazing school year! Go Huskies!
