I am a third grade teacher. I grew up in Ohio. I went to John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio. I majored in Communications and Business. After three years of working as an appraiser, I realized that teaching was my passion. I decided to move to Buffalo, New York to earn my Master's Degree in Education. 

Before becoming a teacher, I decided to take a year and travel. I moved to Paris, France and became an Au-pair. After my fun adventure, I moved to Texas. I begin my teaching career in RISD as a third grade teacher. 

When I am not in the classroom, I spend time with my husband, Bill and our children, Sebastian and Benjamin. We love to spend time at the lake and play board games. In my spare time I enjoy working out, being outside and baking. 

I love working at Haun. This is going to be a great year and I cannot wait to see how each of us grow!
