Hi there! My name is Sydney Stevens and I teach 5th grade at Haun Elementary.

I grew up in McKinney, Texas and graduated from Louisiana State University (Geaux Tigers!) with a degree in Elementary Education. After graduating, I moved to League City, Texas, where I began my teaching career. In 2017 I got married and returned to North Texas.

This is my 11th year of teaching, and I feel so lucky to spend my life doing a job that I love so much! Every day is a new adventure. I enjoy building close relationships with students and making sure that each child knows that they are an important part of our classroom. Haun Huskies rock!
