About Mrs. Mashburn: 

-This is my 29th year to teach music at Wells elementary.

-My first year teaching I was honored with the beginning teacher of the year award for the district and have also earned the district's excellence in teaching award.

-I retired as a Master Sergeant in the Texas Air National Guard Band after 29 years where I was the Operations Director, played the french horn and sang in the band. 

-I also lead the music worship as the music ministry for my church.

-In my free time I love to spend time with my husband (Cody) and son (Leo), who is a 8th grader at Haggard Middle School.
