Animal Rescue
The Holifield Science Learning Center no longer accepts injured or orphaned wildlife for rehabilitation and release. Please visit Animal Help Now to find species-appropriate wildlife rehabilitation permittees.
If you have an animal that you are thinking of donating, or an eyes - closed cottontail kit in need of rehabilitation, please contact PISD's Animal Curator, Elisa Caywood-Best at elisa.caywoodbest@pisd.edu or 469-752-1194. Acceptance of an animal to the HSLC educational program OR a rabbit to Miss Caywood-Best's rehabilitation program is space and resource dependent.
