• 2022 Teachers of the Year Gala Celebration

    On the evening of May 12, 74 teacher of the year campus nominees from every school were honored during the Teacher of the Year Gala at the Plano Event Center. The district celebrated with a fun-filled hot air balloon theme because "Plano ISD Teachers Soar Above and Beyond!" Thank you to the many sponsors who made this event possible by providing sponsorships and gifts for nominees, finalists and the top two winning teachers of the year. 

    From the campus honorees, 10 teachers were honored as finalists and named the 2022 Marilyn Brooks Excellence in Teaching Award Winners. From this group, the district's two teachers of the year were selected.
