Bachelor of Arts in Teaching ESL Supplemental

Mrs. DeeDee Murray

I graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education in 1991. I taught 6th grade for one year in Alabama before returning to my home state of Texas to teach 4th grade for five years. After having children. I took some years off from full-time teaching to be a mom and returned to the classroom in 2012 after working two years as a Special Education Assistant here at Dooley. All three of my children were Dooley Dragons, so it is great to be a part of a school that I love so much! When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our three children. My oldest (Michael) married a 3rd grade teacher (Riley)in March, my daughter (Lauren) is engaged to be married in December, and my youngest (Stephen) is starting his freshman year at the University of North Texas. We've had lots of changes in our family this year, so any time together as a family is very precious. We love to play games, watch movies, and just have fun together!
