Hi Mariners!

My name is Diem Mai (formerly Mrs. Nguyen). This is my 13th year in education, and my 10th year as a Mariner. I am excited to join the 5th grade team this year and will be teaching reading/writing/social studies. I have also taught 3rd and 4th grade and was an instructional coach for two years. 

I grew up in Dallas and received my bachelor's degree from The University of Texas at Austin (HOOK 'EM!). My husband and I are pretty busy (and tired) these days running around with our three kids - Sophia, Jackson, and Zoe, and two shiba inus - Dobby and Ghost. I recently discovered how much I enjoy working and creating with balloons and hope to continue developing my skills. I also love Target, Harry Potter, Bucee's, boba, and the convenience of online shopping from my couch.
