Welcome back to the 2024-2025 school year!  I’m thoroughly excited about beginning a new year.  This is my 22nd year as an educator in the state of Texas.  I attended Plano schools from 2nd grade through high school.  Go Panthers!  I graduated from University of Houston with a Bachelor’s degree in Science.  In 2020, I completed my Master’s of Education degree in Administration.  I have taught grades first, second, third and fourth throughout my years in education.  With great enthusiasm, I joined the Plano ISD's dyslexia therapist training program through Scottish Rite and Take Flight.  In the Spring of 2023, I graduated from Take Flight training and am currently working on my CALT certification.  My mission in education is to ensure that all students, regardless of their learning differences, are given equal opportunity to experience success in their education.  It is my hope to see students achieve beyond their self-imposed limits and empower them to overcome all challenges they may face. I’m married to my wonderful husband, Brad Bailey, who is also an educator.  I have 3 amazing children; Jackson 29, Morgan 28, and Jordan 26.  The last 5 years, I’ve been blessed with 6 beautiful grandchildren.  During my downtime, I enjoy hanging out with my grandchildren, pets, and spending time outdoors.
