Shannon Donoghue is a native of the city of Plano and a graduate of Plano Senior High School and Oklahoma State University. She has a Master’s degree in teaching and learning and 10 years’ experience teaching both English Language Arts and Visual Arts. She enjoys spending time with her two beautiful sons in addition to practicing yoga, painting and illustrating with watercolor, and antiquing. Her passion for education stems from her devotion to engaging young learners, her deep interest in exploring and analyzing the human experience, and learning with a community of diverse individuals who share their unique perspectives and backgrounds. She is thrilled to be part of the Academy family.
