Background Info: I was born and raised in Guadalajara, Mexico.  Move to the United States to go to college. I attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX, and graduated with a degree in Business Administration. After working in the business world, I decided I wanted to work with children and studied to get my teaching certification. Most recently, I was certified as an Academic Language Therapist (CALT).  I have been teaching for 14 years. I spent 8 years in the classroom as a bilingual education teacher, and 6 years working as a Dyslexia Therapist.

Family and Hobbies: I have two children of my own, who were my motivation for teaching. I enjoy traveling with my family and seeing the world. I also enjoy taking long walks by myself and reading.
