Hello!  This is my 12th year at Christie Elementary!   I have actually been at Christie more than 12 years!  I was active in the PTA as a parent.  My kids started at Christie and stayed with Plano schools until graduation.  My son, Ryan, is about to graduate from Texas Tech University and my daughter, Katie, is now a PreK teacher here at Christie! 

 

My passion has always been working in the special education department.  I started out as a paraprofessional for 2 years, then moved to teaching for the past 10 years.  This year, I am teaching in our Elevate classroom (self-contained classroom).  I teach kindergarten through 5th grade in our Elevate classroom.  This will be my third year to serve as the Special Education Assistant Team Leader.

 

It is going to be a fantastic year!
