My name is Megan Gonzales, and I am excited to join the team at Academy High School.  I am the Year 2 math facilitator and will teach both Geometry and Algebra 2.  I have 16 years of teaching experience, ranging from elementary to high school.  I have previously taught Algebra 1 & 2, PreCalculus, and, most recently, kindergarten.  I loved teaching the littles, but I am glad to be back in high school.  My favorite part of teaching is seeing the lightbulb moments when students make connections in their learning.

In my free time, I enjoy gardening, cooking, and spending time with my 3 teenagers.
