I was born in a small town named San Benito, Texas, and I attended college at Texas A&M University in College Station.  Whoop!! 

After graduating from college, I volunteered at an elementary school and immediately knew that that was where I belonged.  I have 29 years of teaching experience and have taught 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 6th grades.  I currently serve as the Dyslexia Therapist at Meadows Elementary.   I enjoy working with the students, parents, and staff on our campus.

I have a wonderful partner named Orlando.  We enjoy hanging out with our friends and watching movies.
