Tina Cone grew up in Plano and is a product of Plano schools, attending Meadows Elementary, Bowman Middle School, Williams High School and a graduate of Plano East Senior High School. She started her career after college as a corporate trainer at EDS. She then began teaching full-time at Plano Senior High School in 1997, where she taught a variety of CTE courses. In 2012, she joined the original team of facilitators who worked to implement the vision for the Plano ISD Academy High School. Mrs. Cone shares a love of hands on learning and problem solving with her students and looks forward to sharing her passion for technology and engineering and helping them prepare for their future career. Tina currently lives in Plano with her husband Matt (who teaches at Plano Senior High School), her 2 boys, and 2 pups. She enjoys sports, camping, and spending time with family.
