This will be my 20th year in PISD and my 18th year at Meadows Elementary. I was a Special Education teacher for 10 years before coming to 5th grade. Camp is one of my favorite parts of teaching 5th grade along with watching my students grow & succeed as we prepare them for middle school.

I attended PISD schools for K-12th and graduated from Plano Senior High School. I received my undergrad in Social Work at Texas Tech University. While working on my masters at the University of Texas-Arlington, I did an internship providing therapy at both of Plano's Special Program Centers. This is when I discovered I loved working with children and got my teaching certificate.
