Art Teacher

I am the art teacher here at Dooley Elementary. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from Texas Woman’s University and have been teaching art since 2006.
As an artist and teacher, I am drawn to color and the purity of kids’ art. I enjoy exposing students to the world of art by promoting active learning and cultural understanding. Art is an outlet for self-expression and building confidence, and I cannot wait to see all the masterpieces Dooley Dragons create this year.
