I want to learn to effectively implement the 8 Studio Habits of Mind so my students can develop multiple critical thinking skills as they engage in the creative process as a life long learner.

I want to incorporate the 8 SH of M into my curriculum so that students are able to transfer what they have learned through their personal creative process into other disciplines.

I want to familiarize myself with the creative potential of Apple applications so that my students can create more meaningful digital art using the iPad.

I want to utilize digital portfolios so that my students can document and recognize their artistic growth over time.

I want to incorporate a variety of artistic processes in lesson planning so that my students can expand their creative endeavors.

I want to refine my classroom management routines so that my students can enjoy a focused learning environment.

I want to utilize a classroom strategy emphasizing positive reinforcements so that my students can experience an environment conducive to creativity, risk-taking and self-expression.

I want to differentiate instruction so that students make personal connections to their learning and find art-making meaningful and relevant.

I want to create a safe, risk-taking environment that fosters a growth mindset and allows students to become resilient, lifelong learners.

I want to model collaboration with professionals from diverse backgrounds so that students can effectively engage in a collaborative community.

I want to implement a variety of material management strategies so that students take ownership of the classroom, demonstrate safe and responsible use of supplies and internalize strong work habits.

I want to learn how to implement studio practices that encourage self-reflection so that my students have more choice and voice in their creative process.

I want to design creative challenges so that my students will explore and develop complex, original ideas into meaningful artwork that resonates with an intended audience.

I want to learn and incorporate a variety of brainstorming techniques that encourage creative idea generation so that students are able to make meaningful and purposeful connections with their artwork.

I want to explore meaningful feedback practices so that students can improve their ideation processes, craftsmanship skills, and critical evaluation abilities.

I want to become a facilitator of design thinking and model the process so that teachers will actively apply it in their classroom practices.
