Hi!

I'm Mr. Overton and this will be my 7th year of teaching and my fourth year at Rose Haggar Elementary! I previously taught Pre-K Music & Movement in Norman, Oklahoma while I was earning my Masters in Educational Leadership: Curriculum & Supervision at OU. I got my bachelors of Vocal Music Education also at OU, Boomer Sooner!

I am originally from Arlington. TX and went to Martin High School (the home of Pentatonix). My wife, Savannah, works for an insurance brokerage. I love doing any kind of sport (trail racing, rock climbing, basketball and pickleball are my favorites right now), Crossfit, water sports, playing video games, reading fantasy novels, and blasting music in the car! It's always a good day to be a Haggar Mariner!
