This is my sixth year at Daffron, and I am super excited to be back!  I began my teaching career in Jr. High, and taught the teens for 10 years. 

I LOVE elementary and Daffron is my home.  I have been married to my husband Jason since 2003, have a 15-year-old kiddo and 3 crazy, big dogs. 

I love the outdoors, especially the mountains and the beach. I really enjoy being in the mountains in New Mexico, going hiking, white water rafting, and horseback riding.  I love the crystal beaches in Florida, relaxing in the sand and reading books.

I have a huge garden in my backyard where I grow flowers every year that attract hummingbirds, butterflies and different kinds of bees. 

My favorite flowers to grow are sunflowers and lantanna. I also have several bird feeders in the trees so that I can sit back and relax and watch the birds.  My big dogs tend to scare some of them off! 

I put up an owl box last year, and had two owls move in. It was really fun to watch them at night.
