My name is Staci Mendelsohn, and I am excited to be at Daffron Elementary for my fourth year as an ESL Coach and Interventionist.  This will be my 22nd year of teaching. Before being at Daffron, I taught 5th grade English Language Arts for 12 years at Shepard Elementary in Plano. I love working with Daffron Deputies in small groups to nurture and grow their abilities.  

On a personal note, I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. I graduated from the University of Texas in Austin with a BS in education.  Go Horns!  My husband, Glenn, and I moved to Plano after getting married and have raised two wonderful children, AJ and Brandon, who graduated from Plano ISD.  My favorite hobbies are reading, watching movies, and spending time with my family.
