Welcome to Daffron!  My name is Paula Diaz and I am a Bilingual Instructional Specialist for grades 2nd- 5th. I teach Esperanza and mathematics.  This is my 15th year at Daffron and 27th year with Plano ISD.  I was born an raised in Slaton, Texas and moved to the Plano in 1994 to pursue my endeavors in teaching. I am a proud mom of a son who will be attending Fairleigh Dickinson University this fall to pursue a degree in graphic design and digital media as well as play Division 1 volleyball as a libero. As a devoted educator, my goal this year is to ensure that all my students gain the acquired knoweldge and skills necessary to achieve their academic goals and pursue their own dreams. This year may look a little different, but together we will make learning fun, engaging, and memorable.

¡Bienvenido a Daffron! Mi nombre es Paula Díaz y soy una Especialista de Instrucción Bilingüe para los grados 2º al 5º. Doy clases de Esperanza y matemáticas. Este es mi decimoquinto año en Daffron y mi vigésimo séptimo año con Plano ISD. Nací y crecí en Slaton, Texas y me mudé a Plano en 1994 para seguir mis esfuerzos en la enseñanza. Soy una madre orgullosa de un hijo que asistirá a la Universidad de Fairleigh Dickinson para obtener un título en diseño gráfico y medios digitales, así como jugar voleibol D1 como libero. Como educadora dedicada, mi objetivo este año es asegurar que todos mis estudiantes obtengan los conocimientos adquiridos y las habilidades necesarias para lograr sus metas académicas y perseguir sus propios sueños. Juntos haremos que el aprendizaje sea divertido, atractivo y memorable.
