I was born in Houston, TX and went to college at Texas A&M University.  I graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor’s in Biomedical Sciences and in 2007 with a Masters in Public Health. This is my 4th year teaching and I have taught 3rd grade as a Dual Language teacher in McKinney and this will be my third year teaching 5th grade.  I enjoy building positive relationships not only with my students but with my families as well.  I believe that education is the only way that we can help our children ensure a better future not only for themselves but for the world. I will be married to my college sweetheart for 10 years next April and have two beautiful children. One of my personal goals is to learn to play the violin one day.
