Hello! My name is Jamie Sanz. This is my 11th year in elementary education. I taught for 10 years for Frisco ISD before staying home with my daughter for several years. I'm super excited to be back in the classroom! My daughter, Abigail, is a current Boggess Bengal. I'm also a stepmom to Nik, a special needs, 21 year-old who goes to school at the PISD Solomon Center. I love being a mom and a teacher! I have a passion for teaching and love helping students to reach their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally. I strive to help every kiddo to be a risk-taker and to obtain a growth mindset. Some things I hope for students to learn from me are to become life-long learners, that memorable learning happens through discovery and inquiry (being curious and asking questions), and that kindness is everything! In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family (including my kitties), cooking all the meals, and being outdoors in nature.
