Our library program is focused on providing students with opportunities to read a variety of texts and literature, develop research skills, and hopefully produce a love for reading. I want all students to become lifelong learners.
HOURS OF OPERATION
The library opens before school for student access Monday-Friday from 7:20 am - 7:30 am.
Classes are held in the library weekly, beginning at 8:00 am, for 30 to 45 minutes each. Each grade level's library time can be found on my Boggess teacher page.
CHECKOUT GUIDELINES
Students are permitted to check out books weekly in their homerooms or visit the library before school to exchange library books more frequently.
LIBRARY EXPECTATIONS
Students are expected to return their books in a timely fashion and in good condition so that other students may enjoy them. We also practice good library citizenship by taking care of our library and ensuring it's always ready for others to enjoy.
ONLINE RESOURCES
Our district subscribes to multiple resources and databases, such as PebbleGo, PebbleGo+, National Geographic Kids, various e-books, World Book and Britannica online encyclopedias, and more. Your student can access these resources at school and home via Webdesk.
