  • CHILDSAFE

Notify the front office immediately if your child is going to be late or absent. We must verify your child is safe if they have not arrived by the morning bell at 7:40 AM. The following options are available 24/7.

If we do not know where a student is, we will contact all parents/guardians by phone, email, and text. The safety of your child is our main concern.

    About Me

  • ATTENDANCE

Regular attendance is essential for students to fully benefit from daily instruction. Missing a week or being frequently tardy results in lost learning that cannot be recaptured. Research indicates that early habits can predict future attendance and dropout rates.

You can help your child by:

    • Having everything needed for school with them when they arrive.
    • Arriving five to ten minutes before the 7:40 AM tardy bell.
    • Notifying the secretary and teacher of any absences as soon as possible.
    • Obtaining a doctor's note when your child has an appointment.
    • Sending notes for an absence within three (3) days of your child's return to school.*
    • Scheduling travel and vacations during breaks in the school calendar.
  • SKYWARD

YOU CAN NOTIFY THE SCHOOL OF AN ABSENCE AND SEND A NOTE IN ONE EASY STEP!Skyward Link

    2. Absence Request tab
    3. Add Absence Request

Enter the start date, end date, and reason for the absence.

  • ASSIGNMENTSHomework

Make-up work can be sent out on the third day of absence. Students will be given appropriate time to complete any missed assignments.

  • *A student absent from school for any portion of a school day must provide a note describing the reason for the absence. The note must be signed by the student's parent/guardian. Failure to bring a written excuse signed by the parent or guardian within three school days of an absence may result in an unexcused absence being recorded.
