Hello! My name is Ms. Swinton and this is my first year as a Centennial comet! I am from Plano and graduated from Plano Senior High School. I have always been passionate about working with children and helping them strive to be their best. I received a degree in Family and Child Development from Texas State University (Go Bobcats!) and quickly returned to my family here in Plano. After graduation, I worked as a paraprofessional at Beaty Early Childhood while obtaining my teacher's certificate and got into the classroom as quickly as possible. This will be my 8^th year teaching (all in Plano ISD). I have taught both first and second grade, and this will be my first time teaching third grade. I am so excited to be a part of this new journey, and I know it will be a great 2024-2025 school year!
