Oct. 11, 2018 - 32 Seniors Named as 2019 Scholars by the College Board's National Hispanic Recognition Program

Thirty-two Plano ISD's seniors have earned top ranking as Scholars through the College Board's Class of 2019 National Hispanic Scholars Program.

Yearly, the program honors almost 5,000 of the nearly 250,000 Hispanic/Latino juniors who take the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. Although the program is not a scholarship, it is an academic honor that can be included on college applications. Colleges use the program to identify academically exceptional Hispanic/Latino students.
