I love being with young kids and seeing them grow every day. I am glad I have the chance to work here at Isaacs and work with kids with special needs.
I have been a stay-at-home mother for the past seven years with my two daughters. My older daughter was born in China and can speak and read in both Chinese and English.
My younger daughter had Infantial Spasms (a rare kind of seizure that happens with babies when they are 6-8 months old). She had lost all her abilities and basically went back to a new-born baby for several months. I was really worried about her and willing to do anything to help her grow. We received lots of help from early-childhood specialists and therapists. Now she has basically caught up with normal kids. During the process of her recovery, I have learned a lot about how to deal with kids with developmental problems.
I believe love and support is what every child needs. Talking to them and playing with them are essential to their brain development. They need lots of interactions and a whole community to grow heathily and happily.
