Hello from Isaacs Early Childhood School!!

I am Ms. Hamilton and I am thrilled to continue teaching Pre-K as an Isaacs Panda!!  This is my 6th year teaching at Isaacs Early Childhood School and my 9th year teaching in public schools.  I have always admired and respected the dedication and excellence Plano ISD exemplifies.  As a graduate of Richardson High school, I am happy to live in the area where I attended school for all 12 years.

I am a daughter, sister, aunt, mom & nana to 3 grown children and soon-to-be 5 (12/28) grandchildren.  These connections guide me so often as I reflect and navigate the needs of my students.  Most of my family continues to live in the area; my parents recently celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary!  My Dad always told me if you love what you do, it's not work.  He encouraged me to find what I love and do it for life.  My other hobbies include watching my beloved Dallas sports team, reading, and traveling. 

My educational journey includes attending Texas A&M University, Commerce, earning my BSIS in EC-6th grade with certifications in All-Level Special Education and ESL. Returning to school while teaching in Texarkana (Pre-K, TISD), I graduated from Texas A&M University, Texarkana, with a Masters in Special Education, Curriculum and Instruction.

I am privileged to be an educator and always look forward to encouraging, supporting, nurturing and individualizing opportunities to connect with my students and families.  Here's to a happy and rewarding 2024-25 school year for all my colleagues and families!
