Absence Info

  • Please call the ChildSafe line (469-752-1500, option 3) to report any student absences.  Be sure to leave your student’s name, grade level, teacher’s name, and reason for absence.  A student has three days after an absence to turn in a note (written or email) in order to receive an excused absence for permissible PISD absences. The note should include the students' name, reason, and date of absence.    A parent call alone does not excuse the absence. Email excuse notes to: becky.newcomer@pisd.edu
