Mrs. Jen Haugh

I wanted to take the time to personally welcome you to Pearson Early Childhood! I am excited and honored to be embarking on my seventh year as Principal at Pearson for the 2024-2025 school year.  I have a passion for early childhood education as well as building and cultivating relationships that support, encourage and inspire academic learning and social emotional growth for our youngest learners.  I am committed to nurturing and growing a campus community that supports what is best for all children.

This year marks my 16th year as an administrator and my 19th year in Plano ISD.  In addition to being the Principal here at Pearson, I have served as the Assistant Principal at Saigling, Wells, Mendenhall, Schell, Stinson, and Weatherford Elementary Schools. Prior to becoming an administrator, I taught at Hedgcoxe Elementary here in Plano and at Townsell Elementary in Irving ISD.

Upon graduation from Nimitz High School in Irving, TX, I initially received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Southern Methodist University and spent time working in the field of Forensic Psychology.  I received my Master of Education in Elementary Education from Texas A&M - Commerce and my Principal Certification from The University of Texas at Arlington.  Through my years in education, I have had the privilege and opportunity to work at 8 different campuses in Plano ISD.

I am beyond blessed with a supportive husband, Doug, and five wonderful children - Dakota, Brayden, Landry, Logan, and Audrey - who keep my calendar full and my heart happy!   I enjoy my time away from school traveling, running, exercising, camping, and playing golf.

I am eager to get to know your child(ren) and am looking forward to partnering with you to help all students at Pearson reach their fullest potential.  I know this will be a year of adventure and growth. I am here to assist and support you in every possible way.  I look forward to a wonderful year learning and growing with the Pearson community!
