I am embarking on my 17th year of teaching. This is my 4th year teaching Pre-K students at Pearson ECS. It is an honor to nurture them during the first official year of their education. My teaching philosophy centers around the belief that a nurturing environment, where love and structure coexist, is essential for a child’s growth. I approach teaching with a balance of warmth and discipline, creating a space where students feel supported yet understand the importance of boundaries. By nurturing their emotional, social, and intellectual needs, I guide them with care and clear expectations. I believe that when children are coached in this way, they develop resilience, confidence, and a love for learning. Through consistent encouragement and firm guidance, I aim to help each child reach their full potential, growing into responsible and compassionate individuals.

When I'm not teaching, I enjoy baking cookies, watching movies/sports with my family, and doing a little bit of weightlifting.

I look forward to learning alongside my Pre-K students this school year. We are going to have a fantastic year together.
