Hello! My name is Amanda Stigers.  I have been teaching since 2001 and have taught in 3 different school districts.  But PISD is my favorite place to teach.  I have taught 1st grade, 2nd grade, and 3rd grade.  I graduated from Lubbock Christian University and went on to UNT to receive my Masters in Reading.  I have been married for 20 years and have one daughter who is in fifth grade this year.  My family and I currently live in Farmers Branch.  I love teaching at Christie Elementary. Each year a new set of students becomes my family. I am really looking forward to getting to know your children, working with them each day, and helping them to grow not only academically but also emotionally.

    9:30-10:00 - I/E  

    10:00-11:00 - I & I (Inquiry & Investigation)  

    11:00-11:30 - Recess  

    11:30-12:00 - Lunch

    12:00-12:50 - Math 

    12:50-1:40 - Specials (AMPED)

    1:40-2:20 -  Math 

    2:20-2:40 - Literacy Read Aloud, Silent Reading

    2:40-2:45 - Pack Up and Go Home 

  • Specials (AMPED) Schedule: 

    Mrs. Stigers' Class is Split into different groups.  Your student will have their AMPED schedule in their Take Home Folder. 

    Your child will need to wear tennis shoes every day except for the days they go to Art and Music.
