I am so very proud to say that I am an Okie from Muskogee, Oklahoma, that is!!! I’ve always had a passion for teaching and learning, ever since I was very young. Throughout my years in education, I have truly fallen in love with not only teaching children but helping adults grow as educational leaders as well. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Education degree from Langston University, located in Langston, Oklahoma, in 2005. I received my Masters of Education Administration degree from Concordia University at Austin in 2011. I have worked in various roles within education for 20 years. Upon entering my 20th year of education, I am elated to be a part of a dynamic district and an amazing school, Christie Elementary within Plano ISD, as the Assistant Principal. My goal each year is to learn more, grow myself and others and serve the wonderful community of Christie Elementary students and staff. I want to help continue the work that we as Educators do heartfelt for all of our scholars' day in and out!
