2024 Salute to Service Celebration
Plano ISD’s annual Salute to Service Awards and Retirement Celebration has been a long-standing, treasured tradition because it honors the dedicated, heartfelt work of employees. The event is to recognize retiring employees, Superintendent 100 Award nominees/winners and service pin recipients. This year’s event, held on April 11, 2024 at the Plano Event Center, marks the 59th year of the celebration.

Superintendent 100 Awards
Sponsored by InTouch Credit Union, the newly re-designed Superintendent 100 is intended to honor up to one hundred, support staff members who go beyond the call of duty as they perform their job responsibilities. Support staff includes auxiliary and paraprofessional team members who either have frequent or daily contact with students or who do not have student interaction. Nominees will be recognized at the event by Superintendent of Schools Dr. Theresa Williams announcing this year's winners. Congratulations to this year’s Superintendent 100 Winners.

This Superintendent Service Award Winner constantly puts the needs of others first. No matter how difficult the task, this winner’s priority is making the lives of students and staff better.
He has unmatched integrity, will always do what’s right, and makes sure that his teammates are doing the same. Those that work with him know that if he asks for help, then he has already exhausted all resources available; everyone is happy to help him knowing that he will return the favor tenfold when the opportunity arises.
He makes all of us proud of what we do and proud to know him. He has unmatched character, work ethic and dedication.

This Superintendent Service Award Winner plays a crucial role on campus and demonstrates a compassionate nature and strong commitment to the well being of staff and visitors. She genuinely cares.
She goes the extra mile and tirelessly addresses issues or concerns by approaching them in a compassionate manner, even if it means putting in extra hours to find resolutions. She exhibits a strong passion for her role by optimizing processes and enhancing systems to promote a happier and more productive campus. Her positive influence and inspiration extend to both staff and students. She is an invaluable asset.

This Superintendent Service Award Winner is a campus “most valuable player” who supports all students and makes every child feel loved and supported. She is a role model who goes above and beyond to support students and staff with a smile! She is the definition of caring, is selfless and will offer to take things off of teachers’ plates.
She helps students feel proud of themselves when they complete assignments. This winner doesn’t shy away from a challenge and takes initiative to learn about topics to better support students. She remains patient and calm in the toughest situations. Everyone can rely on her bright smile and positive attitude to make their day better.
