Meet Patricia Hempstead- Principal

My name is Patricia Hempstead and I am thrilled to serve as the Daffron Elementary principal this year! I was born and raised in Ardmore, Oklahoma. I come from a family of singers and musicians! I have a son, who is a graduate of Midwestern State University.  We both enjoy playing the piano and singing together. We also like to hike in the mountains whenever we have a chance. 

I  graduated from the University of Oklahoma where I received a Bachelor of Musical Arts. I also attended Texas Woman’s University and received a Masters in Educational Administration. I have served Plano ISD  on different campuses for more than 15 years. Prior to coming to Plano, I taught in Dallas ISD and Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD.
