Patricia Hempstead- Principal

I am elated to serve as the principal of Daffron Elementary, home of the Daffron Deputies where our mission is to ensure high levels of learning for ALL students by providing a strong educational foundation so that children can be the best that they can be. 

I believe in educating our students through love and kindness, while fostering an environment where every child feels valued and supported. I am dedicated to building each child up to reach their full potential and I firmly believe that it takes a village to achieve this goal. We have the most amazing students, staff, and families at Daffron Elementary!

I hold a Bachelor of Musical Arts from the University of Oklahoma and a Master of Educational Administration from Texas Woman's University. 

My journey in education began as a teacher in Dallas ISD and Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD. This will be my 17th year in Plano ISD where I have served as a school administrator.

I am a native Oklahoman but have been an honorary Texan since 1999. I really love spending quality time with my family, gardening, and traveling.

I am honored to serve this wonderful school community and I am looking forward to an awesome school year!
