Welcome to the Forman Library!

Students will come to the library on a weekly basis with their classes. 

F & Q Questions:

*How many library books can my student check out each week?

PreK and Kindergarten - 1 book; 1st & 2nd - 2 books; 3rd through 5th - 3 books

*Does my child have to pay for overdue books?

 No, PISD students are not expected to pay for library books that are overdue library books.

*Will my student be expected to pay for lost or damaged books?

Yes, please email Mrs. Browne if you do not have a library notice, and she will let you know the replacement cost. 

*As a parent, can I check out library books?

Yes, you may check out library books for your child(ren). Please email Mrs. Browne and she will work with you on a time that you can checkout library books.

As a Forman parent or guardian, may I volunteer in the Forman library? 

Yes, please complete our district VOLY volunteer form here. Once you have received confirmation from PISD, please email Mrs. Browne to coordinate volunteer times.

*Please remember to read with your child for at least 20 minutes each day. You may want to have your older children read to younger children.
