  • The Schell Library Media Center is staffed with a full time librarian. A wide variety of materials are available for all students and staff to check out. Please browse the Plano ISD Instructional Resources to view all of the online resources provided by the district. Within these links are encyclopedias, atlases, dictionaries, photos, periodicals, as well as, links to some local public libraries and children’s author websites. Logins and passwords are available from the librarian for home use.

    • Kindergarten - one book
    • 1st grade - one/two books
    • 2nd grade - two books
    • 3rd grade - two/three books
    • 4th grade - two/three books
    • 5th grade - two/three books

    Volunteer Opportunities

    We love library volunteers! Any parent, grandparent, or community member is welcome to be a library volunteer. Volunteer duties include shelving books and assisting with other tasks as needed. If interested, please email or call Mrs. Montoya.

    7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. daily.

    Students come to the library weekly with their classes at a schedule time.

    Open checkout time (with teacher permission)

    • 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
    • 2:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
