I am a Dyslexia Teacher at Sigler Elementary School. I taught 2nd grade for three years at Christie Elementary, and was a kindergarten teacher in Raleigh, North Carolina for four years. Prior to North Carolina, we lived in California where I worked for the Los Angeles Unified School District for 7 years teaching kindergarten and 2 years teaching first grade. This will be my 25th year as a teacher!  Prior to teaching, I was the Director of Child Life and Recreation Therapy at Shriner's Hospital for Children in Los Angeles. I attended the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana and during my summers I was the head swim coach and manager of a private tennis and swim club in Potomac, Maryland.
