I teach the flower class! This class is three and four year old students that are deaf and hard of hearing, as part of Plano ISD’s Regional Day School Program for the Deaf (RDSPD). My classroom is a Total Communication (TC) Classroom, this means that I am using Signing Exact English, American Sign Language, and Spoken Language simultaneously throughout the school day.

I have two deaf siblings and both my parents have been teachers of the deaf, so I have been working with and around this population for a long time. This is my second year teaching, I have taught 2nd and 3rd deaf-ed TC and am now so excited to be in the preschool classroom. I look foward to collaborating with the families of my students and building relationships with the students in my classroom!

I am married and have two crazy puppies!  I graduate with my Masters in deaf-ed in December from Texas Woman's University. I love being outside, hiking, camping, and visiting National Parks. I love trying new things and listening to stories!
